Location
Located on the Cityside and in the heart of the city centre, India House Restaurant and Take Away offers cinvenience as well as quality cuisine for anyone after an enjoyable night out in the city. We are located just yards away from a Department of the Environment Car Park on Carlisle Road and also within easy walking distance of many of the city’s clubs, bars and theatres.

The famous city walls are also just at the end of Carlisle Road and the 400 year old St Columb’s Cathedral is located within the walls. Those interested in more modern history can also enjoy the murals in the nearby Fountain and Bogside.

From the Waterside:
Preferably, use the upper deck of the Craigavon (double-decked) Bridge to cross the river. Take the second exit from the roundabout at the end of the bridge. You are now on Carlisle Road. We are on the right-hand-side, roughly half way up the street.

From Foyle Bridge / Muff:
Take the first exit from the Foyle Bridge or second exit from Culmore Road(Muff), signposted to The City Centre. Go straight through two sets of traffic lights and then straight through the roundabout at the end of Culmore Road. Continue along Strand Road, through two sets of traffic lights, then take the second exit from the roundabout which follows. Follow the road straight on at the City Hotel junction. Go through another set of traffic lights and then take the second exit from the next roundabout. You are now on John Street, take the third exit from the roundabout at the end of the street to enter onto Carlisle Road. We are on the right-hand-side, roughly half way up the street.

From Buncrana / Letterkenny:
From the border, continue on the A2 Buncrana Road and at the first roundabout take the third exit (straight through) and pass B&Q on your left. Continue on the A2 and go straight through the traffic lights at the Collon until you reach the Buncrana Road roundabout. Take the third exit from the roundabout (turning right) onto Strand Road. Continue along Strand Road, through two sets of traffic lights, then take the second exit from the roundabout which follows. Follow the road straight on at the City Hotel junction. Go through another set of traffic lights and then take the second exit from the next roundabout. You are now on John Street, take the third exit from the roundabout at the end of the street to enter onto Carlisle Road. We are on the right-hand-side, roughly half way up the street.

From Newtowncunningham:
From the border continue along the Letterkenny Road until you reach the mini roundabout at the end of Lone Moor Road / Foyle Road. Go straight through the roundabout and follow Foyle Road until you reach the traffic lights under the Craigavon Bridge (double decked). Go straight through the traffic lights and take the first exit from the roundabout immediately after the traffic lights. You are now on John Street, take the third exit from the roundabout at the end of the street to enter onto Carlisle Road. We are on the right-hand-side, roughly half way up the street.
